New Gate Code
will go into effect on
the AM of FEBRUARY 1st, 2023.

The scheduled date for the Gate Combination change is for FEBRUARY 1st, 2023 which will be in effect until FEBRUARY 1st, 2024.

Associates will find the new combination on the back of their card. All Active Members will be provided the new combination when they receive their new card. Those Active Members, who do not receive the new combination, please call Secretary Greg Duck or Chaplin Walter Crook.


The Range gate MUST be left open when members are on the Range.
This is to allow First Responders instant access in any emergency.

RULES REMINDER

With regard to targets, you may only use the cardboard backing supplied, which should be stapled to the horizontal wooden battens, and suitable and acceptable targets stapled to this, allowing clearance from the wooden battens to minimize damage.

50-yard line reserved for use ONLY by Law Enforcement Agencies undergoing scheduled training.

Skeet shooting at the range is strictly prohibited. Anyone caught skeet shooting will be subject to disciplinary action and the possibility of being suspended from the lodge.

If you are on the Range and you see members in flagrant breach of the rules, please telephone a member of the Board immediately so that appropriate action may be taken.

Members should be aware that if found to be in non-compliance with the rules they WILL be expelled from the Lodge by the Executive Board!


NEW RULES FOR DISPOSAL OF TARGETS

PLEASE PLACE ALL USED TARGETS IN THE DUMPSTER PROVIDED.  DO NOT RETURN THEM TO THE SHED.  IF YOU USE PAPER PLATES ETC. FOR YOUR TARGETS, PLEASE CLEAN THEM UP WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED SHOOTING, AND DISPOSE OF IN DUMPSTER.  DO NOT PUT HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE-TRASH IN THE DUMPSTER.


NEW RULES FOR THE PAYMENT OF MEMBERSHIP DUES

Membership fees for Active AND Associate members will be due on the 1st of January of each year.

The annual fee for Active Members will be $50 (Retired Active members $20).

The annual fee for Associate Members will be $75.

PLEASE PAY EARLY TO AVOID COSTLY POSTAL REMINDERS.

MEMBERS ONLY

These facilities are reserved for members in good standing and authorized guests.
Members in good standing are generally authorized to bring one guest who is outside their immediate family.
All members may challenge any person on the property for their membership card.

Please be respectful and courteous at all times.


BRASS POLICY

Members retain the right to pick up their own brass and retain the brass for their own use.
Members, Departments, and Agencies not desiring to retain brass for their own use PLEASE pick up the brass and leave it in the blue cans under the pavilion. Brass left on the range causes havoc to the mower blades!
Brass left under the pavilion is the property of Lodge 43. This brass is sold and helps defray the cost of maintaining the facility.

We only recycle yellow brass and nickel-plated brass cases.
Please throw shotgun cases and steel and aluminum cases in the trash.


PECAN POLICY

The pecans from the trees located from the Lodge building to County Road 13 are harvested by the Lodge and help defray the cost of maintaining the facility.
The pecans from the trees located on the range side of the Lodge building are not harvested by the Lodge. These pecans may be harvested by members for their own use


WEBSITE COUNTER

You might be interested to notice that on 12/31/2013 the visitor counter on the front page just passed the 27,500 mark. There were over 500 visitors to each of the calendar pages for November and December 2013.
